M1 – The Duration Trees
Translatable Verbal Script:
Take a look at this note duration tree, and see how each note is divided into shorter durations.
A whole note has the same duration as two half notes.
Which then is the same duration as four quarter notes.
8 eighth notes, and 16 sixteenth notes.
And the same applies to rests.
Whole rests equals two half rests, 4 quarter rests, 8 eighth rests, and 16 sixteenth rests.
And this apparently applies to flowers as well.
Whole equals two halfs, 4 quarters, 8 eights, and 16 sixteenths.
